Elizabeth was born with Apert syndrome, including bicoronal synostosis and type I syndactyly of hands and feet.

To date, Elizabeth has undergone the following major treatments:

• December 2005 -- (a) skull surgery (cranial vault remodeling) and (b) ear tube insertion
• April 2006 -- (a) first stage fingers and toes release and (b) eye muscle rebalancing
• October 2006 -- second stage fingers and toes release
• June 2009 -- eye muscle rebalancing
• October 2009 -- (a) skull surgery (cranial vault) and (b) new ear tubes
